Necklace, bracelet and earrings kit - 6 colours to choose from
Jewellery making kit - make this stunning 3 pce set in around 1 hour and 30 minutes, no glue or soldering required.
Products used:
1.5mm faceted ball chain
Crimp end connectors available in rhodium, silver, gun metal and gold finish
6mm split rings
Heart clasps in gold finish
3mm gold plated figaro chain
Gold plated earring hooks
Instructions to make a bracelet 19cm's ( please reduce size to suit)
1. Add clasp to split ring then attach to a 25mm crimp end.
2. Attach second split ring to the other crimp end ( 2 extra split rings are enclosed which can be linked together allowing the bracelet to be adjusted.)
3. Cut one piece of chain 18cm and slide into the crimp end.
4. Attach clasp to the split ring and try on for size
5. Reduce length of first piece of chain to suit your own wrist size.
6. Place remaining chain into crimp end and cut to the same size as first piece of chain.
7. Repeat 15 times.
8. Once you have 17 strands close crimp end to secure.
9. Hold crimp end in air and check all chains are exactly the same length.
10. Trim chain if needed.
11. Hold crimp end in the air again and ensure chain is not tangled.
12 Place a piece of masking tape to the back of the chain to hold in position.
13. Take second crimp end and thread the chain on making sure you keep the same order as first crimp end.
14. Once this task is complete please close the crimp end.
15. END
To make necklace:
1.Use same method as above, but precut the chain before you start.
2. 1st length of chain should be 16 inches in length.
3, Add 1/4 inch then cut next length of chain (16.25 inches)
4. Repeat 11 times
5. To recap, each length of chain should be one quarter of an inch longer than the last to create a graduated effect.
6. Use steps 11- 14 from above.
7. Cut 4 lengths of figaro chain to 5cm's each
8. Attach a split ring to each end of two lengths of chain , both ends.
9. Attach one end to a clasp and the other end to a 20mm crimp end.
10. Attach second chain length using the split ring to the other 20mm crimp end.
11. END
To make the earrings.
1. Attach earring hook to 6mm split ring then attach to 20mm crimp end.
2. Repeat.
3, Cut 26 lengths of chain 6cm in length ( this can be adjusted to suit)
4. Add 13 lengths of chain to each crimp end then close crimp ends.
5. Count the seventth chain, this will be the centre then cut chain either side moving out to the side ( one or two balls shorter than the last to create a graduated effect)
6. Repeat for second earring.
