Made with 925 Sterling Silver, the spacer has a silver tube through the centre to which the clay is attached. each end is finished in silver and hallmarked 925.
Silver is used because of its softness and flexability, this allows the bar to be bend once the clay has been attached, the stones are then inserted and finially it is fired in the kiln to fix the stones and harden the clay.
